Who we are

artofmat partner is a registry of makers — upholsterers, carpenters, furniture makers, and architects — who work with artofmat materials. The data controller is artofmat. For any privacy questions, contact us at info@artofmat.com.

What data we collect and why

We only collect the data we need to run the site:

  • Google Sign-In. When you sign in with your Google account, we receive and store your name, email address, and profile photo, to identify you and attach the reviews you leave.
  • Reviews. When you leave a review for a maker, we store the rating, an optional comment, and any optional photos you upload. The review is shown publicly together with your name and profile photo — your email address is never shown publicly.
  • Partner application ("Become a Partner"). If you fill out the partnership form, we collect the company name, full name, tax ID (PIB), activity code, email, phone, and an optional message. This is used only to contact you about the partnership and is sent to our email.
  • Basic anonymous analytics. We count how many times each article is viewed (by date and language) — with no personal profiles and no cross-site tracking.
  • Technical data. Standard server logs and protective measures (such as rate limiting) we use to keep the site secure.
  • Map. The site loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap/CARTO to display maker locations.

How we use your data

We use your data only to enable sign-in, display and publish reviews, respond to partnership inquiries, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising or marketing profiling.

Sharing your data

We do not share your data with third parties, except:

  • with Google, to enable Google Sign-In;
  • with our hosting/infrastructure provider, who technically runs the site.

Reviews are public by nature — visible to anyone who visits a maker's profile.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as your account or review exists. You can request deletion at any time — see "Your rights" below.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • request access to the data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of your account and/or reviews;
  • withdraw consent to processing, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@artofmat.com. The site administrator can remove a review or delete an account on your request.

Cookies and local storage

We use minimal browser local storage to keep you signed in and to avoid double-counting article views. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Google Sign-In may set its own cookies, under Google's own privacy policy.

Children

The service is not directed to children under the age of 15.
